Water Safety refers to the procedures, precautions and associated policies to ensure that you and those around you are safe in, on, and around bodies of water, where there is a risk of injury or drowning. This would also include knowing how to offer help if an emergency situation occurs. Water Safety has great impact to Lifesaver / Lifeguard / Rescue practitioners, aquatic sports athletes and various water recreational activity sectors, regardless their age or skills level, so that they may be prepared and be able to participate in aquatic activities safely.
Water Safety Course aims for the internalization to implement the Aquacode, use of identifiable clothing and outdoor protective devices while at water, interpret standard water safety flags and signs, Spot dangers of different aquatic, follow safety guidelines of different aquatic activities environments and learn different water safety programs.
