A specialized course for Beach Lifeguards, the Beach Lifeguard Training Course will equip participants with sound knowledge in public safety and lifeguarding responsibilities and attributes at beach environment. The course aims to develop competent lifeguards in terms of rescue and lifesaving skills focused on protection, safety and welfare of beach clients and users. Series of physical fitness program, recreational and endurance in-training competitive activities are introduced to build up confidence level of training participants. Use of surf rescue boards are salient competitive feature of the course with the introduction to Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) handling.
