- Identify basic parts of radio equipment according to manufacturer’s specification.
- Observe care of radio equipment in accordance with manufacturers specification.
- Establish channel band and identify call signs of radio stations in the network
- Use procedural words (prowords) in radio communication as per PLS Lifeguard Intercommunications Handbook
- Conduct regularly radio checks for readability and fill out radio logbook clearly.
