Development efforts focused mainly in bringing water safety education and our advocacy campaigns to community levels particularly in the barangay communities and schools in coastal areas The community engagement firmed up the participation of all population sectors in the barangay categorically for the adults to attend leadership training on water safety in tandem with the drownproofing course for the children. Here, we envisioned to develop a “Culture on water safety” within the community and also enhance preparedness for the future emergencies Furthermore, the conduct of community project like mangrove / tree planting coastal cleanup and “bahangka” making is aimed al molding the character of people by making them highly appreciable in the exercise of leadership responsibility and duty of care for children, fellowmen and the environment
